HOW TO MAKE SURE MY EMAILS GET TO YOUR INBOX
Some spam filters can block emails you want to receive. To ensure you receive my emails in your inbox (or in the case of Gmail, in your “Primary” tab), you need to whitelist my email address (which is firstname.lastname@example.org), which basically means you’re telling your email service provider (“hey you!, yeah, you, email service provider!!”) NOT to block my emails. Here’s an article about how to whitelist email addresses in Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Outlook. A whitelisting system exists for just about every email service provider, though, so if you do want to hear from me but don’t use one of the above-mentioned systems, a quick Google search such as “How do I whitelist email addresses in <your email service provider>” should do the trick.
If, for some reason, you don’t get the scene or have any questions about whitelisting my email address, contact me at email@example.com.
